  • Chimamamda story is well worth the time to listen. Her message and how it was delivered is poignant.
    Another reason why I think a ‘single story’ can be dangerous is it creates separation among humans. It also perpetuates control and fear. Lastly, the stereotypes ‘the single stories’ create make people feel justified in how they act towards one another…it creates objectification and unaccountability…..in my humble opinion.

  • Your opinion is right gmindock and the sad fact is that much of the single stories out there were created on purpose by some people who saw it as a way to create division amongst human beings making them easier to manipulate for gains both political and financial.
