Currency Ban For Common Man.
Common man facing the consequences of the currency ban.

In what is speculated to be a major assault on black money, fake currency, and corruption, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went on national television at 8 pm on November 8 and announced that from midnight of that day (12 AM, November 9, 2016), Rs 1,000 and 500 currency notes will be demonetized
While social media erupted as soon as his announcements came out with scores of citizens praising Prime Minister’s move as “surgical strike”, numerous other people are bearing the brunt of the immediate consequences of one of Modi’s boldest moves.
I also came to know about the surgical strike by Social Media, Me, Radhika Majithia student of post graduation in media and entertainment from Welingkar Institute, Mumbai., I am an outstation student. After hearing the news i got panicked as I did not have much of a cash in my hand except for the two 500Rs notes and the atms had long ques and nobidy was accempting Rs 500 note. I had to suffer a lot as there are still many services we use in our day to day life which doesn’t not accept the digital money like the auto rikshaw walas and sabjiwalas etc. Though i guess my good luck was with me and people helped me lot, like my friends paid for my food ,the sabjiwalas gave vegetables on loan.
It took time but, things started falling in place, People started adjusting and started learning how to used digital money, The autowalas and sabjiwalas also started accepting money through PayTm.

Soon, People started accepting the change, Only time can tell us how effective PM Narendra Modi’s move is curbing black money & fake currency turns out to be. But the immediate effects are depicting the contrasting picture before us.
