MATUNGA- Being, an out station student, every single day, the basis of any purchase or any transaction used to be to go to the nearest ATM center and withdraw the necessary amount and go ahead with the day. When, an immediate announcement was the ban of 500 and 1000 notes, the first action from all sections of societies was a high total of appreciation to Mr.Narendra Modi, starring him as the most daring minister our country has ever seen. Immediate effects were certain things as we students, thought of complete return of black money and Indian currency gaining its own importance and value in international market.

But, when we on our own had to face consequences of this major change, it was a sum up of a median melancholy. In fact, when the ATM centers would be crowded,we would not have any cash in our hand and most of the time ended up in striving in hunger continuously for 3-4 days. When, we had cash, we never got the exact change and hence few people would not offer proper needs and when we would have cash, we missed out proper places, as they had multiple other problems. As, a result we being outstation students, strived more or less for every single necessity during initial stages of this rule being put up.

One small alternative which could have been done was to group a set of ATM centers where more than 3 or four colleges would be there and given a facility of restricted only to  students, which could have a small detector to verify the individual identity cards of respective colleges and then grant its access. And, few ATM centers for officials, and few for women and aged people. Since, everything happened randomly, immediate risk management process failed initially but, later took up some effective steps to relish and soften the blow of relevance.
