During his latest show Real Time with Bill Maher, show host Bill Maher encouraged Democrats to go ahead and convict and impeach President Trump even though there’s no concrete evidence to prove the accusations against him.
Mr Maher tried to justify this preposterous position by saying that Republicans have never allowed the lack of evidence to stop them from doing whatever they want to do.
He even played a video of Democrat House leader, Nancy Pelosi, saying in reply to a question of when President Trump would be impeached, “What are the facts that you would make a case on?” “What are the rules that he may have violated?” “If you don’t have that case, you’re just participating in more hearsay.” and self righteously pointed at the obviously fake news at the bottom of the screen which accuse Trump of passing classified information to Russians. I call that fake news because if it was proven information, Rep Pelosi wouldn’t have made the statement she just made.
The Real Time show host went on to chastise Democrats Adam Schif and Eric Swalwell for insisting that they need to get all the facts before moving on impeachment, saying that facts don’t count anymore.
He went on to say that the slogan “when they go low, we go high” should be replaced by one that says “when they go low, we kick them in the nuts” to which his audience applauded. What I get from there is that, according to Mr Maher, the new Democratic party motto should be “when they go low, we go lower” because low is the new high.
