If Russia gate is real, what is taking so long to bring Trump to justice?

For over six months, we’ve heard how evidence abounds that Russia did it, but the only evidence released up till now was the nonsense about how Russia hacked the DNC and left their calling card which was ridiculed by anybody who has a basic knowledge of hacking, and experts alike.

Since then, the only other things heard about that have been rumors and conjectures, and all sorts of attributions to anonymous and obscure sources, of how we’re very near to the big reveal of how Russia did it.

Recently, members of Congress from both political parties have been hinting at the fact that there’s no concrete evidence linking Russia with “meddling” with our elections. Of course, Democrats are more reluctant to admit it, but they have been admitting it, nonetheless.

The latest admission by a Democrat came from Maxine Waters (D-CA) who when asked by Huffington Post’s Sam Stein whether there has been any actual evidence yet about Russian collusion answered “No, it has not been.”

Then this came from Republican Senator Lindsey Graham who we all know has not been a great supporter of President Trump’s.

“There is no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians as of this date. I do not believe the president himself is a target or subject of any criminal investigation as of right now. So that’s what I know right now, and where this goes, I don’t know. Follow the facts where they lead.”

Finally, this dialogue took place in an interview that took place on CNN between Wolf Blitzer and Democratic Senator Dianne Fienstein.

WOLF BLITZER, CNN: “The last time we spoke, Senator, I asked you if you had actually seen evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians, and you said to me — and I’m quoting you now — you said, ‘not at this time.’ Has anything changed since we spoke last?”

SENATOR DIANNE FEINSTEIN (D-CA): “Well, not– no, it hasn’t.”

BLITZER: “But I just want to be precise, Senator. In all of the—you’ve had access from the intelligence committee, from the Judiciary committee, all of the access you’ve had to very sensitive information, so far you’ve not seen any evidence of collusion, is that right?”

SEN. FEINSTEIN: “Well, evidence that would establish that there’s collusion. There are all kinds of rumors around. There are newspaper stories, but that’s not necessarily evidence.”

So, the people who have actual access to the “great, incontrovertible evidence” that Trump and his campaign colluded with Russia to subvert America’s democracy, as is portrayed everyday in the media, all admit that such evidence don’t exist.

Yet, the rank and file Democrats who all they do is listen to their favorite media personalities, and media outlets, still believe the outright lies and fabrications being fed to them to keep them agitated. These people have no desire to find out the truth, and aren’t reasonable enough to wonder why there has been no evidence released to buttress these claims that have been out there for over six months.

The fact is that there’s nothing in the stories about Trump colluding with Russia but a calculated propaganda effort by the Democratic party to keep their followers ginned up in the run in to the 2018 mid terms.

Between the innuendos full of lies and half truths, and rumors filled with even bigger lies and half truths, the Democratic party leaders have been able to keep their followers mad, without having to release any proof that there’s any truth in their stories.

But, how long will this tactic work? How long before the least curious among these followers begin to realize the fact that no evidence has been released to back the accusations?

How long before the Republican party and President Trump’s campaign, if he runs again, begin to pressure the Democrats to release any evidence they have, or accept publicly that there’s nothing in their stories?

Surely, the Democrats must know that there will be a Republican party push back coming at some point. They must know that the truth about the whole situation must come out before the mid terms, thereby messing up their plans to use this lie to their advantage.

But, it’s very much like the Democrats to map out a horrible plan they know, or should know, would ultimately fail, and hang on to it hoping that some miracle would happen along the line that would make it work.

They did the same when they clung to Hillary Clinton despite all the evidence that she was not liked by an overwhelming majority of the people. They hoped that she wasn’t so bad that she would lose against Donald Trump, but we know what happened.

They’re about to make that mistake again by sticking with the lie they know is a lie, instead of finding honest ways to solve the problems of the party so it can go into upcoming elections on a united front.
