Jakarta Senator Abdul Azis Supports the HIMPAUDI Struggle at the Constitutional Court

Senator of DKI Jakarta Province, Dr. Abdul Azis, who is a member of the Committee III DPD-RI, attended the Third Session of the Constitutional Court with the Association of Educators and Early Childhood Education Personnel (HIMPAUDI)

Indonesia is currently struggling in the constitutional court by conducting a judicial review of article 1 number (1) and article 2 paragraph (1) of Law Number 14 of 2005 which contradicts Article 28D paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution and Article 27 Paragraph ( 2) 1945 Constitution and Article 28 paragraph (2) of the 1945 Constitution.

I attended the Constitutional Court with the Jakarta HIMPAUDI Friends, as a manifestation of concrete support to HIMPAUDI who was carrying out the constitutional struggle to obtain their rights, that the demands of PAUD teaching staff were very clear, namely First Clear the Dichotomy for PAUD Nor Formal Education, and we also request that the Constitutional Court grant Judiwal Review as a form of eliminating injustice for educators in Non-Formal ECD.

The government is asked to seriously pay attention to PAUD education, because PAUD is the forerunner of future generations, look at foreign countries that are very unusual in their attention to early childhood education, as a form of state investment in creating superior generations that are both morally and qualified scientifically.

In the Third Session of Judicial Review of Law No. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers, presenting information from the Government on Monday, February 11, 2019.
