What can be noted for all that are concerned is that there is no shortage of oil so how can the price of gas be so high? One thing that is for certain is this, Wall Street is definitely driving these prices upward with the speculation that they do with stock and commodities trading. The Obama administration has nothing at all to do with how the oil companies are racking in record profits at the expense of the american people.
Obama administration should do something about the speculators. It’s the government’s duty to protect its citizens and they’re presently not doing enough to do that. I don’t think that the Wall Street should be more powerful than the elected government of this country because if that happens, then our democracy is doomed.
