Latest Survey in West Java

Based on the results of a recent survey conducted by Indopolling Network, the former Kopassus Danjen only won 37.9%, lagging behind around 4% by Joko Widodo who pocketed 41.7%.

Political expert at the University of Padjajaran Bandung, Firman Manan, said that even though both of them fought in the 2014 Presidential Election, the public would not necessarily make the same choice in this year’s election. One of the main factors causing the shift in choice was the performance of Joko Widodo who was considered a successful community, especially in building infrastructure.

His position is now different, 2014 are both new people. But today, if talking about Jokowi, he was an incumbent according to Firman who was present as a speaker at the presentation of the survey results, in Bandung
