Bladder infection or urinary tract infections (UTIs) is very common in women as comparison to men and it is also known as inflammation of the bladder.The bladder is where urine is stored until we urinate.Bladder infections are caused by bacteria called E.coli thatlives in the digestive system. If these bacteria or germs get into the urethra they can cause infection. The urethra is the tube that takes urine out of your body.  Sometimes bacteria may enter the bladder through the urethra from close by skin.  According to health stats, more than half of the women get at least one bladder infection in their lifetime and in man the bladder infection chances increases as he ages, due to in part to an increase in prostate size.
